Position: Bilingual Turkish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety
Type:Contract
Compensation:$30–$34/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
Write expert-level prompts in Turkish across specialized scientific topics.
Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content.
Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
Work independently and asynchronously to ensure model safety and compliance.
Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model understanding of Turkish technical topics.
Qualifications
Must-Have
PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.
Native or near-native fluency in Turkish and business-level written English.
Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.
Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.
Preferred
Based in Türkiye or the wider MENA region.
Expertise in radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, or radiation physics.
Depth in a specific subfield such as organic synthesis, molecular biology, or virology.
Experience with chemical safety, biosafety, or hazardous-materials handling.
Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
