Bilingual Junior Social Media & Content Assistant

We are looking for a Junior Social Media & Content Assistant to help manage the daily digital content for a Miami-based radio station.

Our social media presence is growing, and we are producing more content every day, so I am looking for someone reliable, creative, organized, and bilingual who can help me with video editing, posting, and basic social media management.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Editing short-form videos and Reels from radio shows, interviews, news clips, and special events
• Adding captions/subtitles, music, transitions, logos, lower thirds, and basic graphics
• Creating engaging hooks at the beginning of videos
• Resizing and adapting content for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Posting and scheduling approved content across our social media platforms
• Writing and adapting captions in both English and Spanish when necessary
• Keeping content organized and following our branding and style
• Identifying strong moments from longer interviews or radio shows that could become short-form content
• Helping maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Understanding instructions and content in both English and Spanish

We are looking for someone who:

• Is fluent in both Spanish and English — speaking, reading, and writing
• Has experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools
• Understands Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
• Has a good sense of pacing and knows how to make short-form content engaging
• Can create accurate subtitles in both English and Spanish
• Can follow instructions and brand guidelines
• Is organized, responsive, and able to meet deadlines
• Is willing to learn and take feedback
• Experience with radio, news, podcasts, sports, or media content is a big plus

This is a junior-level position. You do not need to be an expert, but you should already have a basic understanding of social media and video editing and be willing to learn, improve, and grow with the team.

We already have an established brand, content style, and social media strategy. Your role will mainly be to help execute the content, edit videos, prepare posts, publish content, and keep everything moving consistently.

This has the potential to become an ongoing working relationship for the right person.
