Beginner Wix Website Workshop

I’m organising a hands-on session for a group of adult learners (10 students, filmmakers) who have never built a website before. My goal is for them to walk away with a simple, fully-functioning Wix site they have created themselves while understanding the design choices behind it.

During the class you’ll need to:
• Explain core design principles (layout, colour, typography) in language a true beginner can follow.
• Guide them through Wix’s drag-and-drop editor so they can add pages, galleries, contact forms and any other basic functionality that will make their sites feel complete.

The focus is practical: each student should finish the workshop with a live site and the confidence to keep iterating after you leave. We will not be diving into advanced SEO, e-commerce or custom code this time, so please keep the material firmly centred on design foundations and built-in Wix features.

I can provide the venue, Wi-Fi and projector; you bring the curriculum, step-by-step demos and any quick-start handouts you find useful. Let me know how many hours you need, what equipment or software accounts participants should set up in advance, and how you suggest measuring their progress by the end of the day.
