Beginner Graphic Design Mentorship

I’m just starting out in graphic design and want to accelerate my learning through real, hands-on projects. My immediate goals are to produce polished digital banners, eye-catching thumbnails, and cohesive branding assets while truly understanding the “why” behind each design decision.

Here’s how I picture our collaboration: you’ll walk me through your workflow step by step—planning, sketching, choosing palettes and typography, building the layout, refining, exporting—so I can see exactly how an experienced designer thinks. I’m flexible on tools: if your strengths are in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or a mix, I’m happy to learn whichever you feel is most effective for each task.

During live screen-share sessions (or recorded tutorials if easier), I’d like you to:
• Demonstrate efficient shortcuts and time-saving tricks.
• Explain core principles such as color theory, typography hierarchy, and layout composition as we apply them in real projects.
• Assign small practice exercises between meetings and give actionable feedback on how to improve.

By the end of our mentorship I should be comfortable planning and producing client-ready graphics on my own, with a solid grasp of both the creative process and the technical setup. If you’re patient, enjoy teaching, and can back your lessons with practical examples, I’d love to work with you.
