I have a reference image of a bee-themed candle holder and I need it turned into a clean, print-ready 3D file for my Creality FDM printer. For this first piece I’d like a medium-sized holder—somewhere between 10 cm and 20 cm tall—decorated with a clear honeycomb pattern worked into the walls. Think elegant geometry rather than cartoon bees: crisp hexagonal cells that read “hive” at a glance, yet still allow warm candlelight to glow through.
The file must arrive ready to slice in Cura with minimal supports, sensible wall thicknesses, and no non-manifold edges or floating shells. PLA will be the material, so please keep overhangs within realistic angles and factor in a standard 0.4 mm nozzle.
Deliverables
• STL (or STEP + STL) of the finished design
• A brief note on recommended print settings (layer height, infill, suggested support placement)
• One revision round to tweak fit or pattern density if needed
If this goes smoothly I’ll commission additional bee-inspired items—vases, tealight clusters, maybe even a small planter—so a thoughtful, reusable design approach is appreciated. I’m looking for someone who can translate concept art into reliable, beautiful prints, and who’s happy to iterate on future pieces as the collection grows.
