Beauty Platform UX Overhaul

I need a fresh, intuitive experience for our beauty-focused web platform so customers can glide from discovery to checkout without friction. The current flow feels dated and cluttered, so I want to tighten navigation, elevate aesthetics, and refine core functionality in one coherent pass.
Customers are the heart of the site, and their biggest pain point is finding the right products quickly. That means the product search and recommendation engine must feel smarter, faster, and visually engaging—surfacing shades, styles, and bundles with minimal clicks. Alongside that, menus, filters, and micro-interactions should guide users naturally instead of forcing them to hunt.
You’ll start by auditing the existing journeys, then produce low-fidelity wireframes that solve the structural issues. Once we agree on direction, translate those into high-fidelity mock-ups that showcase a modern, beauty-centric visual language: clean typography, generous white space, and a palette that echoes our brand. Component specs should be handed off in Figma with clear interaction notes so my dev team can implement without guesswork.
Deliverables:
• UX audit summary highlighting navigation, aesthetic, and functional gaps
• Wireframes covering homepage, product search, recommendation panels, and checkout flow
• Pixel-perfect UI mock-ups with states and responsive breakpoints
• Design system update (colors, typography, components) ready for hand-off
A short recorded walk-through of the prototype will act as acceptance criteria: if a customer can land, search, view tailored recommendations, add to cart, and reach payment in under two minutes—with no dead ends or confusing loops—the job is complete.
