We're looking for reliable field technicians across the continental US (all except Hawaii and Alaska) to perform a simple, fully documented battery replacement on specialized telehealth medical carts at client sites.
What the work involves:
On-site battery replacement on a healthcare device across the continental US. This will take roughly 90 minutes on site and you will need to collect an OEM-supplied battery en route, perform a documented swap, take three specified photos, makes two calls to a technical support desk, drops the old battery at a recycler, and files a digital report within 24 hours. The work is during business hours only and onsite within 10 days of dispatch.
This is a low-complexity, procedure-based task, not a specialist repair role. If you're handy, methodical, and comfortable following a step-by-step guide, you're a strong fit.
Requirements:
- Working vehicle
- Own basic hand tools (13mm & 10mm wrenches, 5/4/3mm Allen keys, Marker)
- Can lift ~40lbs (weight of the battery)
- Must pass a drug screening and background check (7-year criminal history check, ID verification)
- Solid hands-on/mechanical aptitude, no specialized technical certification required
Training: Onboarding is self-guided, based on the OEM's written replacement guide and instructional video, plus our client's service-delivery protocols.
