I have a set of compliance-related PDF forms that need to be filled with information stored in a single-worksheet Excel file. Each row in the sheet represents one form instance; every column matches a field inside the PDF.
The PDFs follow standard formatting—no custom templates or style adjustments are necessary—so the task is purely about accurate data mapping and population. Once filled, the forms must be saved as separate, ready-to-submit files for IOCL compliance records.
Deliverables
• A complete batch of PDFs, one per Excel row, with every field accurately populated
• Original field-mapping file or script (e.g., Adobe Acrobat action, Python script, VBA macro—use whichever tool you prefer) so the process can be repeated in the future
• Brief hand-off note confirming the number of forms generated and any rows that could not be processed, if applicable
Acceptance criteria
1. All numeric, date, and text fields mirror the Excel source exactly.
2. File names follow the convention I will provide once the project starts.
3. No alteration to the native layout or design of the PDFs.
If you have done bulk PDF form filling with Excel data before, this should be straightforward. I’m ready to share the files as soon as you confirm the method you plan to use and an estimated completion time.
