I have a completed CAD floor plan and I need it turned into a clean SketchUp file that simply shows the overall layout. All I’m after is the shell: walls, doors, windows, and the main room divisions. No furniture, surface finishes, or photorealistic rendering—just clear, accurately-sized geometry that mirrors the drawing.
I’ll send you the DWG as soon as we start. From you, I want the native .skp file and a couple of exported JPG or PNG screenshots (plan view and an isometric) so I can show the team. Accuracy in footprint dimensions and correct door/window placement are the key acceptance criteria; if it lines up with the CAD, the job’s done.
If you work quickly in SketchUp and are comfortable tracing CAD underlays, this should be a straightforward task.
