I’m ready to turn my unfinished 1,800 sq ft basement into an inviting family-and-entertaining zone that feels unmistakably Scandinavian: light woods, clean modern lines, muted textiles, and clever built-ins that keep clutter out of sight. The space needs clear zoning for lounging, games, a small wet bar, and flexible seating for gatherings, all while keeping traffic flow open and airy.

You’ll start with the existing floor plan and photos I’ll provide, then create a full concept that my contractor can build from. Feel free to work in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, or the tool you’re most comfortable with—as long as the final files are easy for a builder to interpret.

Deliverables
• Scaled layout plan with furniture placement
• Mood board with material & colour palette
• 3–5 photorealistic renders (key viewpoints)
• Lighting and electrical plan
• Itemised specification sheet for furniture, fixtures, and finishes

Acceptance criteria: the design must seat 8–10 people comfortably, stay true to the Scandinavian-modern aesthetic, and line up exactly with the provided dimensions. I’d like an initial concept within one week of kickoff and the full package delivered no later than three weeks after that.
