Base44 Developer Needed to Fix & Professionally Finish Existing B2B Spirits Distribution Website
Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced Base44 developer / web designer to professionally finish and improve our existing website for MINE X Distribution, a B2B wine and spirits distribution company.
The website is already built and functioning in Base44.
Existing website:
https://mine-x-portal.base44.app/en
This is NOT a project to build a completely new website from scratch.
We need someone who can review the existing site, correct the problems, improve the layout and user experience, and make the entire platform look like one professional, consistent B2B distribution website.
The final website should feel premium, modern, clean, international, and professional, appropriate for presenting spirits brands to retailers, wholesalers, bars, restaurants, distributors, and trade partners.
Main Work Required
1. Full Website Review & Cleanup
Review every page of the existing website and identify:
- Inconsistent spacing
- Oversized blank areas
- Misaligned sections
- Inconsistent fonts
- Inconsistent button styles
- Poor mobile formatting
- Uneven image sizing
- Sections that do not visually flow together
- Duplicate or unnecessary information
- Navigation problems
- Broken links or buttons
- Forms that are not functioning correctly
The entire website should have one consistent design system.
2. Distribution Page
The Distribution page needs particular attention.
The information, media kit, downloadable materials, PDFs, brand information, and contact/inquiry areas should feel like one unified section.
Currently, some areas have too much spacing and feel disconnected.
We want:
- Less unnecessary white space
- Consistent margins and padding
- Uniform document/media cards
- Professional PDF/media-kit presentation
- Clean download buttons
- Clear headings
- Better visual hierarchy
- All related materials grouped logically together
The user should immediately understand what materials are available without scrolling through large empty areas.
3. Portfolio / Brand Presentation
Improve the presentation of our brands and products.
Products should have:
- Consistent image dimensions
- Consistent product cards
- Brand name
- Product name
- Bottle size
- Product information
- Clear calls to action
- Professional spacing
- High-quality visual presentation
The portfolio should feel like a professional distributor's brand catalog rather than separate sections assembled independently.
4. Trade Partner System
The Trade Partner section is extremely important.
The inquiry process should be professional and easy to understand.
Forms should capture the appropriate information, including:
- Company name
- Contact name
- Email
- Phone
- Country
- Business type
- Website
- Brands/products of interest
- Estimated order volume
- Message/additional information
5. Automated Email Confirmation System
Every website inquiry must generate email notifications.
This includes:
- Trade Partner inquiries
- Distribution inquiries
- General contact inquiries
- Business inquiries
- Any other website form
When someone submits an inquiry:
Customer:
The person submitting the form should automatically receive a professional confirmation email confirming that MINE X has received the inquiry.
Example:
"Thank you for contacting MINE X Distribution. We have received your inquiry and a member of our team will review your request and contact you shortly."
MINE X:
The appropriate MINE X team member/admin should simultaneously receive an email containing the submitted information.
Both parties should therefore receive confirmation that the inquiry was successfully submitted.
The system should also clearly show the inquiry inside the website/admin system where applicable.
6. Form Reliability
Please test every form from beginning to end.
We need confirmation that:
- Form submission works
- Information is saved correctly
- MINE X receives the inquiry
- Customer receives confirmation
- Correct email addresses are used
- Required fields work
- Error messages work
- Success messages work
- Mobile submissions work
No inquiry should disappear without notification.
7. Mobile Optimization
The entire website must be checked on:
- Desktop
- Laptop
- Tablet
- Android
- iPhone
Spacing, menus, images, forms, buttons, PDFs, and text must display correctly across screen sizes.
8. Navigation & User Experience
Review the complete customer journey.
Main areas currently include:
- Home
- Portfolio
- Distribution
- Trade Partners
Navigation should be simple and consistent.
A potential business customer should be able to quickly understand:
Who MINE X is → What brands we distribute → Where we operate → How to become a trade partner → How to contact us.
9. Professional B2B Appearance
This is not intended to look like a normal online liquor store.
MINE X is a distribution company, so the website should communicate:
Brands. Distribution. Markets. Trade Partnerships. Growth.
The design should feel appropriate for presenting the company to:
- Brand owners
- Importers
- Wholesalers
- Retailers
- Supermarkets
- Online alcohol retailers
- Bars
- Restaurants
- Hotels
- Duty-free operators
- International distribution partners
10. Do Not Remove Existing Work Without Approval
A significant amount of work has already gone into the website.
Do not rebuild or remove major sections without discussing the change with us first.
The objective is:
Fix → Standardize → Improve → Connect → Test → Finish
—not start over.
Deliverables
Before the project is considered complete, we expect:
- All existing pages professionally cleaned up
- Consistent design throughout the website
- Distribution/media-kit section corrected
- Portfolio standardized
- Trade Partner section improved
- All inquiry forms working
- Automatic customer confirmation emails
- Automatic internal MINE X notifications
- Mobile responsiveness corrected
- Navigation checked
- Links and downloads tested
- Desktop and mobile testing completed
- Final review of the complete website
Freelancer Requirements
Please apply only if you are comfortable working with an existing Base44 project.

4. Examples of professional B2B websites you have worked on.
5. Your estimated timeframe.
6. Your fixed-price quote for completing the project.
