I need a clean, well-documented implementation of the Base44 algorithm that runs natively on Windows. The scope is strictly data encoding/decoding—no compression or encryption layers—so the program should accept any text or binary input, convert it to valid Base44 text, and decode that text back to its exact original form.
I’m after a lightweight tool with a sensible command-line interface: support file paths or stdin/stdout piping, handle large files gracefully, and respond with clear error messages when the data is malformed. Performance on par with common Base64 utilities is welcome, but absolute accuracy is the priority.
Deliverables
• 64-bit Windows executable
• Complete, buildable source code (C, C++, C#, or a Python solution frozen with PyInstaller—your call)
• README covering installation and at least three usage examples
• Unit tests that prove round-trip integrity and check edge cases
When you submit a bid, simply link to past work that shows your experience with encoding, decoding, or similar data-format utilities; that’s all I need to shortlist you. The project is finished once the binary passes my tests on Windows 10+ and I can reproduce the build from your sources.
