I’m getting ready to roll out www.bajanlist.com across Barbados and need a focused social-media push that drives visitors straight to the site. My priority is traffic, not vanity metrics, so every creative choice should steer people to click through and explore the platform.
Primary channels
Facebook, Instagram and Twitter will carry the bulk of the messaging, but I also want to weave TikTok into the mix for short, fast-moving clips. If a post format performs exceptionally well on one network, feel free to repurpose it across the others so we keep the voice consistent while maximising reach.
Content style
Short-form video and reels are the core asset. Think vibrant, 15–60-second snippets that showcase what locals and visitors can actually do or discover through BajanList. I’m comfortable with on-location shoots, motion graphics, or even user-generated edits—as long as the final cut looks polished, mobile-first and includes a clear call-to-action that leads back to the site.
Scope of work
• Craft a 4-week content calendar with daily posts tailored to each platform.
• Produce the full suite of videos/reels (captioning, hashtags, thumbnail design included).
• Set up and manage paid boosts/ads in Meta Ads Manager, Twitter Ads and TikTok Ads to amplify the highest-performing pieces.
• Track click-throughs, time-on-site and conversions using UTM tags and Google Analytics, then refine the strategy week-by-week.
• Provide a concise weekly report outlining what’s working, what isn’t and next actions.
Acceptance criteria
1. At least 20% week-over-week growth in referral traffic from social.
2. Minimum engagement rate of 5% per post on Facebook and Instagram, 3% on Twitter, 8% on TikTok.
3. All videos delivered in 1080 × 1920 resolution, under 60 seconds, subtitled and branded.
If you have a proven track record of launching local brands online—and you’re as excited about Barbados as I am—let’s talk timetable and jump right in.
