I’m putting together a memoir that chronicles the bar trade through the lens of industry trends, with a clear spotlight on technological innovations that have reshaped the way we pour drinks and run the business behind the bar. From the first touchscreen point-of-sale terminals that replaced handwritten dockets to the latest inventory-tracking platforms and mobile ordering apps, I want this story to read like you’re standing right beside me on a busy Friday night, watching the future unfold in real time.

What I have so far are scattered notes, anecdotes from two decades behind the stick, and a timeline of key tech milestones. What I need is a talented writer who can weave those raw materials into an engaging, book-length narrative—something part memoir, part industry case study. I’d like an outline first so we can be sure the arc feels natural, then progressively drafted chapters, with space for me to add sidebars and personal reflections as we go.

The finished manuscript should:
• Flow like a good conversation at last call—story-driven yet informative.
• Give readers practical insight into the why and how of each innovation without slipping into a dry technical manual.
• Contrast the tech focus with brief nods to other evolving trends (craft cocktails, sustainability, etc.) only when they help frame the bigger picture.
