Backlit Family Photos Restored

I have 28 cherished family shots that were taken against bright windows and the details are now buried in shadow and haze. My top priority is pulling as much clarity out of each frame as possible, followed by tasteful light recovery and gentle de-hazing so the pictures will hold up beautifully when I print them in a keepsake album.

To be confident we’re a good match I’d like you to choose one of the images I’ll provide, work your magic on it, and send back a water-marked preview. Seeing how you tackle those blocked-up shadows and bring definition to faces is the key step before I commit the full batch.

Please share a link to past work that shows similar rescue edits—anything involving heavy back-lighting, blown highlights, or noisy under-exposure will be most relevant. A concise note on your approach in Photoshop, Lightroom, or any other preferred retouching tools is helpful, but I’m weighing results over theory.
