I’m developing a line of newborn sleepwear and need a fashion designer who can take the concept from initial sketch through to production-ready files. The range is strictly for newborns, so fit, safety standards, and soft finishes are critical.
Fabric preference is cotton, and modal blends, so your designs should maximise breathability, easy care and that signature buttery feel parents love. If you have experience sourcing knit weights or advising on GSM for cotton/modal mixtures, let me know—that insight will be valuable as we move toward sampling.
Here’s what I’m expecting:
• 3–4 original sleepwear styles (footed romper, two-piece set, or any silhouette you feel best suits newborn comfort).
• Detailed flat sketches and colourways.
• A concise tech pack for each style covering measurements, trims, stitching notes and fabric composition.
I will provide mood-board references and target cost parameters once we agree on direction. Final files should be delivered in Adobe Illustrator (or similar vector format) with all layers intact so my factory can work straight from them.
If designing for the tiniest clients excites you and you’re confident working in cotton/modal, I’d love to see a quick note on your relevant experience and a few portfolio examples of previous babywear or loungewear projects.
