B2B Telemarketer / Appointment Setter (Base Pay + Bonus | Marketing Agency | CASL & PIPEDA Compliant)
We’re a growing Canadian marketing agency that helps businesses scale through Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), high-converting landing pages, ad creative, and full-funnel campaign management.
We’re hiring a confident, experienced, and personable B2B telemarketer to connect with business owners, qualify prospects, and book sales appointments. You'll also support one of our clients in the medical aesthetics industry with lead follow-up, appointment booking, and B2B referral outreach.
This is a remote, full-time role (160 hours/month) with base pay, performance bonuses, and long-term growth opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys speaking with people, confidently handles cold calls, builds rapport naturally, and knows how to turn conversations into qualified appointments.
>What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting.
- Strong communication skills — able to build rapport quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate value clearly.
- Confidence speaking directly with business owners and decision-makers.
- Ability to handle objections professionally and guide conversations toward appointments.
- A self-starter who's organized, consistent, dependable, and motivated by results.
- Comfortable handling both outbound cold calls and inbound lead follow-up.
- Familiarity with Canadian outreach and privacy laws (CASL, PIPEDA, and regional regulations) — training will be provided, but prior experience is preferred.
>Responsibilities
>>Campaign 1 — Marketing Agency (80 Hours/Month)
- Identify and cold call prospective business owners and decision-makers.
- Introduce our marketing services and identify potential business growth opportunities.
- Qualify prospects based on fit, interest, and readiness for marketing services.
- Clearly explain the benefits of Google Ads, Meta Ads, landing pages, and campaign management.
- Handle objections, build interest, and book qualified discovery calls directly into the agency owner's calendar.
- Follow up with interested prospects and maintain accurate CRM records.
>>Campaign 2 — Medical Aesthetics (80 Hours/Month)
- Contact and follow up with inbound leads through phone, text, and email.
- Convert interested prospects into booked treatments or consultations.
- Explain approved services, pricing, and promotions while answering common non-clinical questions.
- Conduct outbound B2B cold calls to identify potential referral partners and event opportunities.
- Qualify prospective business partners and book meetings directly into the client's calendar.
- Maintain accurate follow-up records and appointment tracking.
>>Performance & Improvement
- Track call outcomes, appointment rates, follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
- Maintain organized CRM records and separate pipelines for both campaigns.
- Share insights on lead quality, objections, and script effectiveness.
- Contribute to improving outreach, qualification, and appointment-setting processes.
- Follow applicable CASL, PIPEDA, and regional requirements for outreach and personal information handling.
>Requirements
- Proven experience in telemarketing, B2B cold calling, appointment setting, or inside sales.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong prospect qualification, objection-handling, and follow-up skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and appointment scheduling tools.
- Understanding of compliance and data privacy laws (CASL, PIPEDA, etc.), or willingness to learn through training.
- Reliable internet connection, headset, and quiet workspace.
- Availability during Vancouver / North American business hours.
- Driven, dependable, and comfortable with performance targets.
>Job Details
- Position: Full-Time, Remote
- Hours: 160 hours/month (approximately 40 hours/week).
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, ideally between 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time.
- Campaign Allocation: 80 hours/month for each campaign.
- Compensation:
-- Base Pay: $3 CAD/hour for verified calling, outreach, and sales development activities.
-- Agency Bonus: $200 CAD for every new marketing retainer client resulting from an appointment you book.
-- Agency Bonus: $100 CAD for every new marketing audit client resulting from an appointment you book.
-- Medical Aesthetics Bonuses: Additional performance-based incentives to be determined.
-- Agency bonuses are paid once client payments clear.
- Growth Opportunity: Long-term position with potential advancement into senior sales development, sales closing, or sales management roles.
>To Apply
Please include:
-- A short introduction about your experience in B2B telemarketing, cold calling, or appointment setting.
-- Examples of your previous results, including qualified appointments booked or conversion rates.
-- Any familiarity with CASL, PIPEDA, or similar compliance frameworks.
-- How you would respond to a business owner who says, "We're already working with a marketing agency."
-- Confirmation of your availability during Vancouver / Pacific Time business hours.
-- A 60–90-second voice recording demonstrating how you would introduce yourself to a business owner during a cold call for our marketing agency.
The voice recording is required. We're evaluating your confidence, communication skills, professionalism, and ability to engage prospects naturally — not your ability to memorize a script.
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes ownership of their results, and is motivated by turning conversations into qualified business opportunities.
