Azure App SharePoint Integration

My Azure-hosted application needs a seamless SharePoint layer so users can handle documents without ever leaving the app. The core of the job is to embed SharePoint’s Document Management capability and wire it up to the existing Azure services and identity stack.

Here is what I need working end-to-end:

• Document Management – full SharePoint integration that respects my current Azure AD identities.
• Version Control – every file change must be tracked and roll-backable.
• Permission Settings – role-based access that mirrors my Azure AD groups.
• Search Functionality – lightning-fast, in-app search across all stored files.
• Document Templates – users should be able to create new files from predefined templates that I can maintain centrally.

If additional SharePoint features such as intranet pages or custom lists can be plugged in later, I’d like the architecture kept flexible so we can layer those on without a full redesign.

Deliver the working modules, source code, and deployment notes (ARM/Bicep, Terraform or equivalent) so I can reproduce the setup in another tenant. I’ll test by provisioning a fresh environment, uploading sample files, applying permissions, and confirming that templates, versioning, and search behave exactly as described.
