Azure AKS Setup & Monitoring

I’m ready to move my existing .NET workloads into Azure Kubernetes Service and need a specialist who can stand up a reliable AKS environment and keep it healthy over time. The Azure subscription and resource group are already in place; networking (VNET and subnets) is handled, so your focus will be on the cluster itself plus an ongoing observability strategy.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

• Provision and configure a production-ready AKS cluster inside my current resource group.
• Establish best-practice node pools, autoscaling, RBAC/AAD integration, secrets management and basic security hardening.
• Wire up monitoring and logging via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics (or equivalent), with alert rules that surface pod, node and cluster-level issues clearly.
• Produce concise documentation and a short hand-over session so I can understand routine maintenance tasks—upgrades, patching and scale adjustments.

Acceptance criteria
– A sample containerised .NET app can be scheduled successfully on the cluster and exposed through an external LoadBalancer service.
– Live dashboards show CPU, memory and pod health metrics.
– A documented upgrade test proves the cluster stays available during a minor version bump.
