I run an active, multi-tier application split between AWS and Azure, and I need an experienced DevOps engineer who can slip straight into the workflow and keep everything running smoothly while we continue to scale.
The day-to-day will revolve around building and refining Terraform-based infrastructure, containerising new services with Docker, and orchestrating them in Kubernetes clusters on both clouds. Our pipelines are already wired up in Jenkins and GitHub Actions, but they need continuous improvement—faster build times, tighter security checks and more reliable rollbacks.
You’ll be working on Linux servers, writing Bash and Python scripts for automation, and tightening the networking and security configuration throughout the stack. Observability is critical, so expect to extend our Prometheus and Grafana dashboards, fine-tune alert rules and help us stay ahead of any performance issues.
This is an ongoing engagement, so I’m looking for someone who can commit regular weekly hours, communicate clearly in GitHub issues and pull requests, and document changes thoroughly. When you reply, please include:
• A brief overview of your recent AWS + Azure work
• Examples of Docker/Kubernetes projects you’ve owned or contributed to
• Links to any CI/CD pipelines or Terraform modules you’ve built that you’re able to share
If the fit is right, we can dive straight into the backlog and start shipping improvements.
