AWS Migration for Camera Platform

I am ready to move our existing PHP / MySQL‐based camera platform and its large image archive to Amazon Web Services. The main driver is scalability; peak traffic and storage demands are growing faster than our current host can handle.
Scope of work
• Re-architect the entire stack so application servers run on Amazon EC2, while all archived images reside in Amazon S3 for durable, cost-effective storage.
• Migrate the web application and database together so the platform and archive stay in sync from day one.
• Build in security best practices (VPC, subnets, IAM roles, security groups, encrypted S3 buckets, SSL termination) during each phase rather than bolting them on later.
• Provide automated deployment scripts or Infrastructure-as-Code templates so we can reproduce the environment quickly in additional regions when traffic warrants.
Deliverables
1. Documented migration plan with cut-over checklist.
2. Terraform, CloudFormation or similar scripts for EC2, S3, networking, and any auxiliary AWS resources you recommend.
3. Successfully migrated, fully tested production environment with zero data loss and minimal downtime.
4. Post-migration performance and cost report plus rollback/DR strategy.
Acceptance criteria
• Application workload runs entirely on EC2 instances behind an Elastic Load Balancer, reachable via HTTPS only.
• All historical and new images stored in S3 with lifecycle policies enabled.
• Database latency and page-load times equal to or better than current hosting, verified under load testing.
• Environment passes OWASP top-10 security scan.
If you have demonstrable experience moving PHP/MySQL workloads to AWS at scale, I’d like to see how you would tackle this and an estimated timeline for each phase.
