Awards Evening Event Photographer

Our annual company retreat culminates in a semi-formal awards night on 6 November 2026, 6 pm – 9 pm in Ballarat, and I need a photographer who can discreetly cover the entire evening. The brief is simple yet crucial: capture natural, candid interactions as they unfold, organise the occasional polished group shot, and document every awards presentation on stage without missing a handshake or smile.

Because the event is black-tie, you’ll need to arrive in formal attire and work in a way that blends seamlessly with the guests. Good low-light technique, reliable flash work, and a back-up body on hand are expected; there’s no chance for reshoots.

After the night I only need basic edits—clean colour balance, light cropping, and gentle retouching where required. Nothing over-processed, just high-quality photographs ready for internal comms and social posts.

Deliverables
• At least 150 fully edited, high-resolution JPEGs
• Web gallery or shared drive link delivered within seven days
• All images backed up for a minimum of three months
