I am assembling a live, online training program for a group of beginner-level engineers who must quickly come up to speed on AVEVA’s plant design ecosystem. The curriculum is already sketched out—Common Foundation → AVEVA Foundation → Role-based Specialization → Supporting Tools → Domain Enablement → Project/Capstone → Assessment—but I want a seasoned trainer or SME to take full ownership of the Software Tool Training track.
The three core modules you will teach are:
• AVEVA E3D / PDMS
• AVEVA P&ID / NextGen P&ID
• AVEVA Unified Engineering
Because the cohort is starting from zero, every concept needs to be demonstrated hands-on, with plenty of practical examples that tie back to EPC and plant-engineering workflows. Integrating topics such as data migration and mapping, ISO 15926/DEXPI standards, Hexagon Smart 3D interoperability, SQL/Oracle back-ends, and light scripting with the AVEVA SDK (PML, C#/.NET) will help the learners see the bigger picture, but the heart of each session must remain tool proficiency.
What I need from you
1. A detailed session plan that fits into a 4-to-6-week online schedule (live classes of 2 hrs each, three times a week).
2. Slide decks, demo datasets, and step-by-step lab exercises for every module.
3. A small capstone project that requires learners to produce an end-to-end model or drawing set, plus an objective grading rubric.
4. Quizzes or assessment questions for each milestone, culminating in a final evaluation.
5. Availability for Q&A support during the program and a follow-up clinic two weeks after completion.
Everything will be delivered via our LMS and Microsoft Teams, so please factor screen-sharing, breakout rooms, and recording into the flow. If you have creative ideas—Figma mock-ups to illustrate UI concepts, for example—feel free to weave them in.
