I have a single 2D avatar that needs to be fully rigged and then brought to life with eight short pose-based animations in Spine for at least side view and 3/4 view. The core moves I must have are Idle, Running, Jumping, friendly Wave, a quick Celebrate, a light Dance loop, when answer is wrong and when answer is correct.

Alongside the body motion, I’ll need four interchangeable facial expressions—Normal, Happy, Sad and Surprised—so I can swap them onto any of the poses later.

Also, in Spine, the anchor points for future overlay of skin and gear layers are created.

You can work in the 2D rigging software you’re most comfortable with (Spine, Live2D, Adobe Animate, etc. are all fine) as long as the final deliverables include: • The editable rig file with cleanly named layers/bones • Exported * Spine JSON or binary .skel * texture atlas .atlas * texture image(s) .png or .webp * keep the original .spine project file as the editable source • A brief note on how to switch expressions inside the rig Smooth, game-ready motion and a tidy, reusable rig are the key acceptance criteria. Once everything is approved, please hand over the original working files so I can iterate in-house if needed
