RF engineer wanted for independent review of automotive GPS + digital radio LNA
I have an existing RF/LNA design for an automotive application with two frequency paths: GPS and digital radio.
I am looking for an experienced RF engineer to perform an independent critical design review, rather than redesigning the circuit from scratch.
Main areas to review:
RF architecture and signal paths
Input/output matching networks
LNA biasing and stability
Gain and noise figure
Filters and LC networks
Isolation between GPS and digital-radio paths
PIN diode implementation
RF input protection
Strong-signal behaviour and potential saturation/intermodulation
Supply decoupling and grounding
PCB layout recommendations
Component selection and tolerances
Expected deliverable: a concise technical report identifying potential problems, their severity, recommended changes, and measurements/simulations required to validate the design.
Please apply only if you have practical RF hardware experience. In your proposal, briefly describe previous LNA/GNSS/RF front-end designs and the RF measurement equipment you have used (VNA, spectrum analyser, noise figure measurement, etc.).
