I’m putting together a single Excel workbook that will let me monitor stock levels, capture every sale, and print or save customer invoices without leaving the sheet. The core of the file is a sales and inventory tracker, but I only need it to store customer details and the invoices we generate—supplier purchasing data isn’t required.

Here’s what I want it to do:
• A clean, protected invoice form where I enter quantities and prices, then have subtotals, tax, and grand totals calculate automatically.
• Once the form is saved, the sale should post itself to an underlying database sheet so stock levels update and a historical log of each transaction is kept.
• Simple lookup or dropdowns for existing customers so we avoid repetitive typing, with room to add new names on the fly.
• Dashboard-style summaries I can filter by date or customer to see top-line metrics such as units sold and remaining inventory.

Everything needs to run inside standard Excel—formulas or VBA are both fine, as long as the file is reliable on the latest Microsoft 365 release for Windows. Please build it using clear, well-labeled sheets and add a short note that explains how to reset the invoice form and where to add new products.

When you deliver, I’ll test it by entering a handful of sample orders and checking that inventory, totals, and customer logs update exactly as expected.
