I am looking to have a desktop-based stock screener built that pulls live or near-real-time data from the NSE and BSE in India as well as the NYSE and NASDAQ in the United States. The goal is to let me sift quickly through the entire universe of listed companies on those four exchanges and surface only the names that meet the filters I set on the fly.

Core needs
• Clean, responsive desktop interface (Windows first; cross-platform via Electron or similar is fine if that speeds delivery).
• Reliable data feed for all four exchanges, handled automatically in the background.
• Flexible filter panel so I can turn criteria on or off, tweak numeric ranges, save custom presets and export the resulting list to CSV.
• Column-sorting, quick search, and a one-click link from any row to the company’s full quote page in my default browser.
• Local caching so I do not burn API calls unnecessarily.

Tech preferences
I am open to Python (PyQt, Tkinter), C#, or Java—whichever you are most productive in—as long as the final installer is simple for me to distribute across several machines. Please mention any commercial or open-source data APIs you intend to use and their cost implications.

Deliverables
1. Compiled desktop application.
2. Well-commented source code.
3. Setup instructions and a concise user guide.
4. A short demo video or live walk-through proving the screener works across all four exchanges.

Acceptance Criteria
• The app launches and fetches fresh symbol lists from NSE, BSE, NYSE, and NASDAQ without manual intervention.
• I can apply at least three independent numeric or Boolean filters and see the table update instantly.
• Exported CSV matches the on-screen results exactly.

If you have built similar tools or plugged into exchange APIs before, that experience will be highly valued.
