We need a Word macro-enabled template (.dotm) built for a legal/contract-style document. The template should let a user add or remove specific clauses while editing, with the surrounding numbering, cross-references, and formatting updating automatically.
Specifically, we're looking for:
Content controls or bookmarks mapped to a defined set of optional clauses
A simple way to toggle clauses on/off while editing (checkbox list, dropdown, or button-triggered macro — open to your recommended approach)
Automatic renumbering of clauses/sections when one is added or removed
Clean, commented VBA so we can make minor edits ourselves later
A short written guide (1 page) explaining how to use and maintain it
We'll provide the base Word document (approximately 20 pages) and a list of the clause variations needed.
Please include in your proposal:
A short example or portfolio link of a similar Word VBA / content-control project you've built
Your estimated turnaround time
Whether you'd price this fixed or hourly
Budget: fixed price, in the low hundreds (AUD). Happy to discuss scope if it affects pricing.
