Automate WordPress With Claude

I run a new perfume-store site on WordPress (Hostinger) and I’m ready to stop nudging developers for every tweak. My goal is to talk to the site through Claude AI and have it carry out the work for me.

Here’s what I need right away:
• Seamless Claude AI integration through its API so I can issue plain-language prompts inside the WP dashboard.
• Prompt-driven actions for the tasks I handle most: updating content, uploading new products, managing blog posts, adjusting page layouts and overall website design.
• A conversational widget on the front end that Claude can use to field basic customer support queries and free up my time (not the most important thing right now)

I’d like the back-end workflow tightened up as you build: clearer navigation, logical grouping of settings, and an easy way to add future agents (for inventory or deeper automation later). If you can wrap this in a lightweight custom plugin or combine existing plugins with custom hooks, even better—speed matters to me.

Please outline:
1. Your approach to authenticating and calling Claude’s API within WordPress (PHP, JS, or no-code tools—whatever you’re best at).
2. How you’ll train or prompt-engineer Claude so it understands my product catalog and brand voice.
3. A short testing plan to prove the AI can publish a blog post, swap a banner, and answer a sample customer question before we go live.

• Documentation/loom explaining how I trigger each action and add new ones
