Right now, colleagues type a mix of numbers and text straight into our Excel template every time we receive a new submission. I want that manual step gone.
The goal is a simple, bullet-proof automation—ideally a VBA macro, Power Automate flow, or an add-in—that takes incoming mixed data and drops each field into the correct cell or table row without human involvement. It must preserve all existing formulas and formatting in the workbook and work on current Microsoft 365 versions.
Deliverables
• A working automated solution (VBA file, flow, or equivalent)
• Clear setup notes so I can deploy it on other machines
• A quick demo file or screen-record showing it in action
I’ll test by running the tool on sample data and confirming every value lands where it should while formulas remain intact. If that passes, we’re done.
