Title: AutoCAD Instructor: Record a Video Module for an Interior Design Course (From Scratch)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD instructor or an interior designer with top-tier drafting skills to record a comprehensive, beginner-friendly video learning module. The module will be integrated into our "Interior Design from Scratch" online course.
During the course, our students receive a real property project brief and an empty floor plan. The goal of your module is to teach them AutoCAD fundamentals completely from scratch and guide them through creating their own individual floor plan based on the provided brief.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and record a step-by-step video module teaching AutoCAD to absolute beginners.
• Guide students through the software interface, essential tools, and drafting workflows.
• Use a real-world empty floor plan to demonstrate how to build an interior layout from a project brief.
Approximate outline of what needs to be recorded:
Module 1. Getting Started with AutoCAD
• How to Successfully Complete the Module
• Installing AutoCAD
• Lesson 1. Downloading and Installing AutoCAD. How to install AutoCAD on your computer or laptop. Essential AutoCAD library for getting started.
• Lesson 2. Getting Started and Essential Tools. How AutoCAD works. Understanding the interface and the essential tools you need to get started.
• Lesson 3. Creating Geometric Shapes: Dimensions, Layers, and Properties Working with shapes, adding dimensions, using layers, and saving drawings.
• Lesson 4. Creating a Technical Detail: Hatching and Projections. Creating a technical detail drawing and side view. Different types of hatching and how they are used.
• Lesson 5. Creating a Measured Floor Plan. Applying your AutoCAD skills in practice. Transferring on-site measurements into AutoCAD and creating a measured floor plan.
• Lesson 6. Room Schedule and Area Calculations. Creating a room schedule based on the measured floor plan. Room numbering and area calculations.

Module 2. Space Planning
• Lesson 1. Introduction to Space Planning. Core principles of space planning. Ergonomics. Common technical mistakes. Understanding what clients typically expect from a space plan.
• Lesson 2. Working with Small Spaces
• Lesson 3. Space Planning in AutoCAD. Creating a space plan in AutoCAD. Drawing walls, placing furniture, adding furniture dimensions, and developing wall and partition plans.
Requirements:
• Good English communication skills with clear, articulate pronunciation.
