My 14-chapter autofiction manuscript is ready for a rigorous editorial pass before it heads toward publication. The first priority is refining the overall structure and flow, but I also need every grammar, punctuation, and style slip cleaned up along the way.

Beyond line edits, I’m asking for candid notes on character development, plot coherence, and pacing so the narrative keeps readers hooked from start to finish. I’d like feedback that works on two levels: detailed, chapter-by-chapter commentary and an overarching summative report.

We’ll begin with Chapter 1 as a paid pilot. For that opening chapter, please return:
• A Word file with Track Changes showing all corrections
• Inline comments flagging structural or tonal issues
• A brief overview (about one page) outlining key strengths, weaknesses, and next-step recommendations

If your approach fits, I’ll extend the assignment to the remaining thirteen chapters under the same framework. Experience proofreading full-length books—especially autofiction or related literary genres—is essential. Discretion is critical

All work should be delivered in Word or Google Docs , and I’m aiming for a one-week turnaround on the pilot chapter. Honest, constructive criticism is not only welcome but encouraged.
