I’m producing an independent documentary that lets viewers taste Vietnam through the screen. The heart of the film is authentic local food culture, so every frame has to feel as though the audience is standing right beside the wok, breathing in the steam and spices.

Core focus
• Show, in detail, how iconic street dishes are prepped, cooked, plated, and served. I need tight macro shots of ingredients, fire-kissed pans, and the vendor’s practiced hands, supported by clean location audio that captures the sizzle.

Story flow
While the primary brief is to spotlight food preparation and cooking methods, I’m open to weaving in short vendor or customer anecdotes and snippets of neighbourhood life if it enriches the narrative without overshadowing the kitchen action.

What I need from you
– Pre-production planning: shot list, schedule, and any location permissions you’ll require.
– On-location filming across at least three distinct street stalls or markets. Stabilised handheld or gimbal footage is fine; occasional drone establishing shots would be a bonus if local regulations allow.
– Post-production: colour-graded, subtitled master cut (12–15 minutes) plus a 60-second teaser. Please edit in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve and provide project files alongside the final exports.

Acceptance criteria
1. Visual emphasis on authentic technique and ingredient handling.
2. Natural ambient sound; voice-over only where it aids clarity.
3. English subtitles burned in and supplied separately as .srt.
4. Final video delivered in 4K H.264 and 1080p proxy within agreed timeline.

If this brief excites you and you have recent food-centric samples, let’s talk dates and logistics so we can lock in the shoot.
