AUSTRALIAN Tax Agent: Lodgement, ATO Remission and Resolution

I require an experienced Australian registered tax agent (RATA) to take an already-prepared multi-year tax matter through lodgement, voluntary disclosure, ATO liaison, remission and resolution.

QBO has been reconciled. BAS schedules, tax modelling and supporting workpapers are complete. This is not a bookkeeping or discovery engagement.

The engagement is approximately 10% review/lodgement and 90% ATO resolution and representation.

Scope includes:
- Review and confirm the proposed multi-year tax treatment
- Lodge drafted FY22–FY26 CTRs, BAS and personal returns
- Historical director-fee PAYGW/STP/SGC remediation
- Division 7A / shareholder loan remediation, including 109N/109RB where applicable
- Voluntary disclosure strategy
- ATO representation and correspondence
- GIC/penalty remission applications
- Payment arrangement negotiation if required
- Negotiate down personal tax debt
- Manage the matter through to the best reasonably achievable resolution

The proposed tax treatment has already been modelled. I need someone who will critically review it and, if technically supportable, confidently represent that position with the ATO. If you believe a different treatment is required, I expect a clear technical explanation and the associated remediation to form part of the agreed scope.

Nothing is to be lodged and no substantive approach is to be made to the ATO until we have agreed the treatment and strategy.

I am looking specifically for someone experienced in ATO remediation and negotiation, not simply annual tax compliance. Only Registered Australian Tax Agents (RATAs) will be considered.
