I have 5 years that now need to be brought fully up-to-date so they are ready for a statutory audit. All the source material is already organised: complete bank statements and the supporting bills/invoices for each year are available in PDF and hard-copy form.
Your role is to turn that raw data into clean, fully reconciled books. I will rely on your expertise as a Chartered Accountant to:
• capture every transaction accurately,
• classify income and expense items under the correct heads,
• reconcile each ledger back to the bank statements, and
• deliver a closing trial balance for every year in scope.
The finished work should leave the records in a state where an independent auditor can start immediately without further adjustments or queries.
I can share statements, invoices and any clarifications you need via a secure drive. Let me know the software or format you prefer for the ledgers and working papers so we can agree on that before you begin.
