ATS Duplicate Checker Extension

We need a single Manifest V3 browser extension that installs cleanly on Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

The extension will detect duplicate candidates while reviewing or creating a candidate in Workday or SAP Fieldglass by comparing the candidate’s email address and phone number against existing records.

Core Features
Auto-scan: Automatically check the candidate when the page loads.
Manual scan: Toolbar button to trigger a duplicate check on demand.
Matching: Exact match on email OR phone number.
Display a clear visual alert showing which field matched.
Provide a deep link to the existing candidate profile, where available.
Lightweight UI with a simple banner/icon badge and easy future branding.

Technical Requirements
Chrome + Microsoft Edge compatible
Manifest V3
JavaScript or TypeScript
Content scripts may extract data from Workday/Fieldglass; APIs may be used where available.
No modifications to Workday or Fieldglass.
All processing must remain client-side; no candidate data may be stored or sent to an external server.
Clean, well-commented, maintainable code with zero console errors.
