RunOrbit is a growing platform built to connect runners and athletes with the right coaches, nutritionists, sports physiotherapists, fitness professionals, training academies, running events, and other services across India.

We are looking for an active, tech-savvy and self-driven person who can help us continuously grow and update the RunOrbit platform while also supporting our social media presence.

RunOrbit Platform & Social Media Executive

Location

Remote / Hybrid – preferably Maharashtra, but candidates from across India can apply.

Engagement

Full-time / Part-time / Freelance – depending on experience and suitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Running Event Research & Website Updates

* Regularly research and identify marathons, ultramarathons, trail runs, triathlons and other running events happening across India.
* Collect important event information such as:
* Event name
* Date
* Location
* Distances/categories
* Organizer details
* Registration information
* Website/social media links
* Verify information before publishing.
* Update and maintain the Running Events section of the RunOrbit website.
* Regularly check existing listings and update changes in dates, registration status, venues, etc.

2. Finding & Connecting With Fitness Professionals

Research and identify relevant professionals and organizations across different states and cities, including:

Running Coaches
Triathlon Coaches
Nutritionists & Dietitians
Sports Physiotherapists
Gym & Fitness Trainers
Fitness Studios
Police Training Academies
Training Institutes
Running & Sports Event Organizers
Sports Brands & Partners

Responsibilities include:

* Find potential professionals through Google, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, websites and other relevant platforms.
* Create and maintain a database of potential contacts.
* Contact them through appropriate channels such as WhatsApp, email, phone or social media.
* Explain RunOrbit and the benefits of getting listed on the platform.
* Share the appropriate registration/onboarding form based on their service.
* Follow up with interested professionals.
* Maintain lead status and communication records.
* Provide qualified leads and contact information to the RunOrbit team.

3. Website Data Management

* Add and update service-provider profiles on the RunOrbit website.
* Ensure information submitted through forms is accurate and complete.
* Coordinate with professionals whenever additional information, photographs, certifications, achievements or service details are required.
* Update profiles based on the information received.
* Regularly identify outdated or incomplete listings and coordinate for updates.
* Maintain a clean, accurate and useful database for RunOrbit users.

4. Social Media Management

Support RunOrbit’s presence on:

* Instagram
* Facebook
* LinkedIn (if required)

Responsibilities include:

* Researching relevant running, fitness, endurance and sports topics.
* Planning content ideas.
* Writing Instagram Reel scripts.
* Creating captions and post copy.
* Finding interesting stories, athletes, coaches, events and fitness professionals that can be featured.
* Supporting the creation of educational and promotional content.
* Maintaining a regular content calendar.
* Monitoring relevant trends in the running and fitness community.

5. Reel & Content Research

The candidate should be able to develop content ideas around topics such as:

* Running & endurance training
* Marathon preparation
* Nutrition for runners
* Injury prevention
* Recovery
* Coaching
* Triathlon
* Ultramarathons
* Running events in India
* Athlete stories
* Coaches and fitness professionals
* RunOrbit services
* Fitness industry trends

The candidate will also be expected to write engaging hooks and short-form Reel scripts suitable for Instagram and Facebook.

6. Research & Lead Generation

A major part of this role will involve online research and lead generation.

You should be comfortable searching for relevant people and organizations across India and building a structured database containing:

* Name
* Service/category
* City
* State
* Contact details
* Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn
* Website
* Lead status
* Contacted / Not Contacted
* Interested / Not Interested
* Form sent
* Profile received
* Website updated
* Follow-up required
