Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Tax Associate Attorney to join their Project Finance group! This team is recognized for its strategic focus and cutting-edge work in renewable energy and energy transition projects. The group collaborates seamlessly across practices and offices worldwide, offering a dynamic and innovative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support senior associates and partners in advising project developers, lenders, and investors on renewable energy and energy transition projects.
Work on projects involving solar, wind, geothermal, battery storage, carbon capture, renewable natural gas, green hydrogen, and electric transmission.
Provide counsel on complex financings and M&A transactions related to renewable energy incentives and federal tax law.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of legal experience as a tax attorney.
Familiarity with renewable energy incentives, including tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act, and partnership taxation.
Strong academic credentials.
LLM in taxation preferred.
