ASP.NET Core API Service Build

I need a brand-new API service written in ASP.NET Core that runs against SQL Server. From the ground up it must cover three core areas: secure user authentication (preferably JWT-based), efficient data-processing endpoints, and a small reporting layer that returns aggregated results in JSON.

I will provide the high-level data model and sample data; you’ll design the database schema, create the Entity Framework Core mappings, and expose well-documented REST endpoints. Clean architecture, async/await throughout, and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation are expected so I can hand the service straight to the front-end team.

Deployment will be to an existing Windows Server instance, so connection strings and appsettings should be easy to switch between local, staging, and production. A Dockerfile is welcome but optional.

Deliverables
• Git repository with readable commits
• SQL scripts or migrations for the schema
• Fully working ASP.NET Core solution with JWT login, CRUD/data-processing endpoints, and reporting routes
• Basic README covering build, run, and deployment steps

I’ll review with Postman; if all endpoints authenticate correctly, process data as specified, and return the required reports, the job is done.
