Houston Area Architect / Engineering Team Needed – Adult Day Care & Behavioral Health Facility (Site Visit Required)
I am looking for a local Houston-area architect or multidisciplinary A/E team to take over and complete a partially finished permit set for an Adult Day Care & Behavioral Health Facility in Spring, Texas. My previous architect did not complete the project, and I need an experienced firm to review the existing plans, visit the site, identify deficiencies, and prepare a permit-ready package. The current plan set includes a proposed facility of approximately 5,900 SF with a 2,000 SF addition.
Required Scope:
- Site visit in Spring, Texas (mandatory)
- Review and correction of existing permit drawings
- Civil engineering (survey coordination, grading, drainage, utilities)
- Architectural design and permit drawings
- Occupancy classification, ADA/TAS compliance, life-safety and egress
- Structural engineering for 2,000 SF addition
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design
- Fire alarm and sprinkler coordination
- Energy code compliance documentation
- Permit submission support through approval
Requirements:
- Local Houston-area architect/engineering team only.
- Site visit in Spring, Texas is required before engagement.
- This is not a remote drafting project.
- Existing plans are already available but require a thorough review, correction, and completion for permit approval.
- The selected firm should be able to provide or coordinate all required disciplines including architecture, civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, and energy compliance.
- Experience with commercial, healthcare, adult day care, behavioral health or similar occupancy projects is preferred.
When applying please provide:
1. Your location.
2. Confirmation that you can visit the project site.
3. Similar projects completed.
4. Your proposed approach and fee.
Note: My goal is to obtain a complete permit-ready package and support through permit approval. Target completion is within 4 weeks or less if feasible.
