Job Overview
Review drug prior authorization requests that have been denied by the insurance. If we have enough information for the appeal, we create an appeal letter from a template or write it by hand. If we need additional information (such as a missing lab), contact the doctor for the missing information.This position has one shift with hours of 9:00am - 5:30am EST with a thirty minute break.
Job Objectives
Contact doctor's offices regarding missing medical information.
Create appeal letters.
Submit appeals to insurance by fax.
Requirements
Previous experience submitting medication appeals.
Excellent English speaker.
Ability to write with correct English grammar.
Proven internet download speeds of greater than 20Mbps and upload speed of 10Mbps via an online speed test ()
