My trading platform relies on Twelve Data for live prices and charts, but we are now hitting the provider’s request cap and the quotes freeze. The bottleneck is clearly in the price-fetching logic, so I need you to dive into the JavaScript / PHP that pulls data, spot the excessive polling, and refactor it right away.
You will have full cPanel File Manager access. Once inside, please locate the scripts that call the Twelve Data endpoints and:
• Introduce lightweight caching so identical quotes aren’t requested twice.
• Apply sensible rate limiting to every outbound call.
• Rebalance the request intervals so we stay safely below the vendor limits while charts and tickers still look real-time.
The goal is simple: prices flow smoothly again with zero freezes and API quota remains untouched through a normal trading day. If you have hands-on experience integrating REST/WS market feeds and can turn this around ASAP, I’m ready to give you immediate access and quick feedback on your fixes.
