We’re building an online program where families anywhere can train with us. For our youngest players, ages 5 to 10, we want an animated character who shows each drill, so young kids stay excited and parents can lead practice at home.
How each video works
A Full Circle coach explains the drill: what to do and why it matters. This is our coach’s voice, on camera or as a voiceover.
The animated character demonstrates the drill with correct technique, slow first and then at full speed.
The character does the reps with the child: a countdown, a rep counter and a fun challenge at the end.
A parent check closes the video: 2 or 3 simple things the parent watches for (“Were their feet set? Did the elbow point at the rim?”), so the parent holds the child accountable.
The character
A friendly, energetic young player that kids ages 5 to 10 will connect with
Original to Full Circle (no existing cartoon or brand character), using our colors: black, white and gray with a red accent (brand guide provided)
Fully consistent from video to video: same face, same uniform, same look
Able to perform real basketball moves accurately: shooting form, footwork, layups, dribbling
Technique matters most
We will film a real coach doing each drill (about 10 seconds, full body, tripod, plain background, 1080p). The character’s movement should come from that footage so the technique is exactly what we teach. We approve every clip before it’s final.
Scope
Starting with 10 to 15 drills for young players (shooting, footwork, finishing, ball handling). If it works, we’ll add more.
Please include in your proposal
Cost to design the character, with 2 or 3 concept sketches to choose from (one-time)
Cost to set up the animation process using our reference footage (one-time)
Price per finished drill video (about 60 to 90 seconds: coach explanation, character demo, reps with counter, parent check, captions, our branding)
Price for the first batch of 10 to 15 videos
Price for extra short clips (5 to 10 seconds) of the character for social media
Turnaround time
Samples of character animation, ideally sports moves or kids’ content
How you make sure the technique matches our footage
Terms
Full Circle owns the character, all designs, motion data, clips and project files (work for hire)
No other brands’ characters or likenesses
We’d like to start with character concepts plus 1 paid test video before the full batch
Thanks. We’re looking forward to meeting the character.
