Animal Adventure Picture Book Writer Needed

I’m looking for a creative writer to craft a complete picture-book manuscript for children aged 3–6. The story should follow an animal protagonist on a light-hearted, fun adventure that keeps preschoolers engaged from the very first page to the last.

I’d love a playful tone with clear, rhythmic sentences that read aloud smoothly and leave room for vivid illustrations. Think 500–700 words total, broken into natural page turns (roughly 24–28 spreads). Please include a short pitch, a page-by-page text layout, and a few notes on setting or visual beats so an illustrator can easily pick up the narrative flow. Originality is a must—no stock characters or recycled plots.

Deliverables:
• A polished manuscript (Word or Google Doc)
• Page-by-page text breakdown with illustration cues
• Brief character and setting overview

If you have experience writing picture books or samples that show you can entertain the 3-to-6 age group, I’m excited to read your proposal and bring this animal adventure to life.
