Android Video-Sharing App Development

I am building a complete social platform for Android that lets users enjoy both short-form clips and long-form videos with the speed and polish of TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Performance, rock-solid security and future-proof scalability are non-negotiable, so I expect clean, modular architecture (Jetpack-friendly), efficient video encoding/streaming, and server API endpoints that can scale horizontally without lag.

Core workflow
• Users sign up with email, phone or social login and maintain simple public profiles – avatar, display name and a one-line bio.
• Videos are added exclusively from the device gallery; the app handles background upload, progress feedback and automatic bitrate optimisation.
• A familiar vertical feed plays clips instantly with swipe navigation, adaptive quality and precise scrubbing for longer content.
• Basic in-app messaging lets viewers chat privately with creators or friends (text, emojis and push notifications).

I want the usual social staples—likes, comments, follow/unfollow, share, search, trending hashtags—and a minimal but functional creator dashboard for stats. Admin tools for content moderation and user management should run from a simple web panel.

Deliverables
