I need an experienced Android developer to jump into my existing code-base and iron out a series of UI and UX problems that are hurting the overall polish of the app. The core functionality is solid; what’s missing is a clean, consistent interface that behaves the same way on different screen sizes and densities.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Review the current layouts and identify anything that feels out of place or visually jarring.
• Standardise spacing, typography and colour usage so every screen follows the same design language.
• Ensure interactive elements (buttons, input fields, bottom navigation) respect Material Design touch-target guidelines.
• Fix any clipping or overlap that appears in landscape, on tablets or on older API levels.
• Deliver updated XML layouts, any necessary drawables, and a compiled debug APK so I can verify changes on my own devices.

Acceptance criteria
The build you hand back should:
1. Launch without runtime errors or warnings tied to your changes.
2. Render correctly on at least a small-, normal- and large-screen emulator.
3. Pass a quick round of accessibility checks (talkback focus order, contrast ratio).

I’ll provide the current source in a private Git repo and walk you through the pain points I’ve already spotted. If we work well together, there’s more maintenance ahead. Let me know your availability to start this week.
