I need a clean, reliable Android utility app whose sole purpose is to help users keep on top of their daily tasks. The core workflow is simple: create a task, break it into sub-tasks if needed, and receive timely reminders until everything is ticked off.

Key details
• Platform: native Android (Kotlin or Java inside Android Studio).
• Functions to build: task creation, unlimited sub-task nesting, date- and time-based push notifications, snooze/mark-as-done actions from the notification shade, local data persistence (Room or SQLite).
• UI: minimal Material Design layout—one screen for the task list, one for details/editing, and a settings pane for notification preferences.

Deliverables
1. Signed release APK and debuggable build.
2. Complete, well-commented source code in a Git repository.
3. Quick-start README covering build steps, libraries used, and how to add future collaboration features if we decide to expand.

Acceptance criteria
• Tasks and sub-tasks save instantly and survive app restarts.
• Reminders trigger exactly at the scheduled time, even after a device reboot.
• No crashes or ANR events during a 24-hour stress test on Android 10–14.

If you have experience with notification handling, Room persistence, and clean MVVM architecture, you’ll fly through this. Looking forward to seeing your approach and timeline.
