I’m building Linkus, a fresh social-networking experience focused entirely on Android. I have the concept mapped out and now need a skilled mobile app developer who can turn it into a fully working application—from clean, maintainable Kotlin/Java code through to an installable APK and Play Store-ready bundle.
Core expectations
• Architect and code the complete Android app, following current Material 3 guidelines.
• Implement the usual social features—user sign-up/login, profile pages, a simple feed, basic in-app messaging, notifications, and search.
• Integrate a lightweight, scalable backend (Firebase or another cloud BaaS is fine) for authentication, real-time data, and push notifications.
• Provide clear documentation and hand over well-commented source code in Git at project close.
Acceptance criteria
1. App installs and runs on Android 8.0+ without crashes.
2. Account creation, posting, and messaging all sync reliably with the backend.
3. UI meets Material 3 standards and adapts properly to phones and tablets.
4. Source compiles cleanly with Android Studio Hedgehog (or newer) and Gradle wrapper.
If you’re confident in native Android social-app builds and can demonstrate similar work, I’d love to review your approach and timeline.
