Android Performance Profiling & Optimization

My native Android app (built with Java/Kotlin) is slow to launch, stutters badly on the main screen, and drains the battery faster than expected. I will give you full source access plus the physical device where the issue is most obvious.

What I need from you:
• Profile the startup sequence and main-screen rendering with tools such as Android Studio Profiler, Systrace, Battery Historian, or any others you prefer.
• Identify the concrete bottlenecks and quantify them—please capture baseline metrics (CPU, memory, frame time, battery usage) before you touch the code.
• Implement the fixes and retest, showing side-by-side numbers that prove the improvement.
• Document every code change and explain why it works, along with a short “avoid-this-pitfall” checklist so the same regression does not happen again.

A clean Git commit history, a brief report (PDF or Markdown), and the updated project that compiles without warnings in Android Studio will complete the job.
