I have access to a Chinese-language, open-source codebase for a mobile gacha title and want to get it running completely on my side—client and server—before thinking about wider distribution. Your first goal is to walk me through compiling and launching the game locally, choosing whatever public repositories or forks you feel are most stable. I’m open to any stack you recommend, so whether that means spinning up containers on AWS, a managed instance on Google Cloud, or even a bare-metal box at home, I’ll follow your lead.
Once the game is standing up, I’d like an ongoing relationship for live-ops style maintenance: squash crashes, keep the gacha tables and events editable, roll security patches, and package incremental updates without downtime. If you already have tooling for hot-patching or A/B testing banners, that’s a major bonus.
To get started, tell me exactly what assets, keys, or build-time resources you’ll need from me so we can fire up an emulator and see the first playable build. My acceptance milestone will be a signed APK that connects to a self-hosted server, lets me log in, and performs a test pull from the gacha pool without errors. After that we can schedule regular sprints for fixes and feature tweaks.
Please outline:
• the open-source packages you intend to use,
• your preferred hosting or orchestration approach,
• and the rough steps you’ll follow to reach the first playable build.
If you have past examples of similar decompiled or self-hosted mobile games, let me know; it will help me gauge the best path forward.
I have no experience in this field, so the proper guidance is needed
